In the afternoon of 17th December 2021, Mr. Thongloun Sisoulith, General Secretary, President of the Lao PDR, together with Dr. Vilayvong Boudakham, Provincial Party Secretary, Governor of Champassak Province, and other delegation visited 36 Manor factory and taste our ancient tree tea of Paksong District, Champasack Province.

During his visit, he gave us comment and emphasis on keeping ancient tea trees organic and also congratulated and wished for our company as well.

With the strong support of the Lao government, 36 Manor has been unanimously praised by countries around the world. We hope that the Lao Government will support us continuously in order for us to improve the production, research and develop the quality of tea products to become a leading tea in Laos and meet the needs of the world market.

The celebration included the official flag-raising ceremony, and a bouquet of live performances related to traditional Laotian music and culture, held at Al Wasl Square, in addition to three different performances in the three thematic areas of Expo 2020 Dubai, on the sea platform, the sun platform and the land platform.

Najeeb Muhammad Al-Ali, Executive Director of the Office of the Commissioner-General, Expo 2020 Dubai, welcomed Dr. Khampheng Saysompheng, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic.

In addition, the Minister of Industry and Trade presented the ancient tree tea products of 36 Manor to the heads of the national exhibitor of each country, such as Korea, Thailand, China, Russia and others. We are very proud and pleased that our tea is chosen by the Lao government to give as a national special gift.

The honorary and national days at Expo 2020 Dubai are moments of celebration for all the 200 international participants, highlighting their cultures and achievements, and displaying their pavilions and programs of events.

This year’s event features more than 3,000 exhibitors from 127 countries, more than last year. It can be said that CIIE is an important opportunity for Lao companies to connect with international channels, expand their development space and enhance their international competitiveness.

36 Manor, as a representative of Lao tea, is invited to participate in the exhibition for the third time, focusing on the ancient tea under the theme “The Perfect Encounter Between Primitive & Pure”. Through the opportunity of exhibiting on the same platform as companies around the world, we were able to learn and share with other tea exhibitors from around the world, as well as contribute to promoting our Lao ancient tree tea to the world.

In our exhibition room, a variety of 36 Manor black tea, green tea, white tea and raw tea are on display. The rich and concentrated aroma of tea attracted many visitors to stop and drink our tea. Tea brewers from 36 Manor brewed special teas for every visitor who visit our room and give them an explanation of an ancient Lao tea characteristics and advantages.

Recently, the ancient tree tea products of Lao Three Six Manor Trade Export Import Sole Co., Ltd. were awarded the Gold Medal of the 2021 World Tea Championship (black tea category). In addition, we were also invited to attend the World Tea Industry Awards and Exhibitions to be held in New York.

The World Tea Championship and Expo Awards Organizing Committee said in a statement: “36 Manor has actively participated in all kinds of international expo. They saw and recognized the history of 36 Manor, the standards of the tea production process, the quality of the tea, the unique environment of the Lao natural resources, the packaging and others that have been thoroughly inspected. After deliberations by the committee, it was finally decided that black tea of 36 Manor from Laos would win the gold medal of the 2021 World Tea Championship.”

It was reported that the World Tea Championship and Expo has been held annually since 2003 and is one of the 50 major international important Expo in the North of the United States. The Expo attracted hundreds of exhibitors and attract more than 5,000 professionals from more than 50 countries and regions each year which make the World Tea Championship and Expo become the largest international tea industry exhibition in the world. The event, will be held in New York and other cities across the United States that sponsored by the World Tea Expo and co-organized by the Desert Oasis Foundation.

The 18th China-ASEAN Expo officially opened on September 10, 2021 in Nan Ning, Guangxi. Lao Three Six Manor Trade Export Import Sole Co., Ltd. was the only Laos company, exhibiting a wide range of ancient tree tea products.

Mr. Phoxay Khaykhamphithoune, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was honored receiving 36 Manor tea products from Lao Three Six Manor Trade Export Import Sole Co., Ltd. as a gift/souvenir to visitors, especially on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the establishment of Lao-Chinese diplomatic relations.

The Lane Xang Field Hospital was completely constructed with fully equipped, taking only one week construction to serve as a venue for the accommodate and treatment of Covid-19 patients that seems to be highly increasing in Vientiane. 306 beds are the current available beds which could be able to add up to total 450 beds.

On 3 May 2021, at the Lane Xang Intra Indoor Sports Ground, a handover ceremony was held with the participation of Mr. Kikeo Khaykhamphithoune, Deputy Prime Minister; Dr. Bounphaeng Phoummalaisit, Minister of Public Health; Mr. Atsaphangthong Siphandone, Mayor of Vientiane Capital, along with sponsor companies and related parties.

On this occasion, Mr. Kikeo Khaykhamphithoune expressed his deep gratitude and appreciation for the contribution of the companies that work together to turn the sports venue into a field hospital to serve the most urgent and most necessary work in our hometown. It represents a noble sacrifice, a wake-up call to make a significant contribution to the mission of the city when needed, a show of patriotism and our desire to save our people from harm.
